It's really amazing to me how cishet dudes experience like 1/100th of the scrutiny women do and immediately cry sexism.

Men: Women are all narcissists. Women are all gold diggers. Women are all liars. Women are all cheaters. Women are all shallow. All women want is to be treated like they do no wrong while they abuse us. Feminism is like Nazism. If a woman isn't attractive, she's not a person.

Women: a lot of men are unsupportive to their partners giving birth.

Men: BUT IF I GENERALIZE LIKE THIS, I'M SEXIST!!!!

Reading though this comment section makes me feel like I accidentally went through a wormhole into a parallel universe in which matriarchy exists and men are the ones treated like property instead of women. But then I realize nope it’s just the same ol’ dimension where people believe reverse oppression is legitimate. Joke’s on me for expecting anything better.

What is with yall bringing down black people when black people aren’t even relevant in the conversation

1

u/pottymouthgrl Apr 24 '26

Seeing as that’s an entirely different thing, shockingly, it’s not the same

No, it is very real that she is expecting men to not be pressent and are being discriminatory towards them for that reason, thereby perpetuating the negative gendernorm and pushing more men towards such behaviour.

Where's the discrimination

-3

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

The presumption of a man acting badly based on his gender

11

u/SupremeTeamKai Apr 24 '26

That's the stereotype, I'm asking how this stereotyped was used to discriminate.

1

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

The surprise that some broke the stereotypical behaviour.

You do understand calling someone "one of the good ones" is in itself discrimination even if it isn't negative to the recipient right?

12

u/pottymouthgrl Apr 24 '26

That’s not discrimination either

5

u/Nostromeow Apr 24 '26

Seriously, « saying he’s one of the good ones is discrimination » like what ? bro has never lived through any kind of discrimination and it shows lmao

1

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

You don't think "one of the good ones" statements and rethoric is discrimination?

13

u/pottymouthgrl Apr 24 '26

That might be but this isn’t that.

1

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

Why is she suprised then?

1

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

Then why is she suprised?

8

u/SupremeTeamKai Apr 24 '26

Idk, you tell me.

1

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

I told you why i belive she was suprised, i think that reason is sexism, now why do you think she is suprised

Yeah, having a stereotype in your mind must then be attached to action/inaction, including speech, to be come discrimination. Otherwise it's a bad little voice in your head
