The surprise that some broke the stereotypical behaviour.

You do understand calling someone "one of the good ones" is in itself discrimination even if it isn't negative to the recipient right?

That’s not discrimination either

You don't think "one of the good ones" statements and rethoric is discrimination?

13

u/pottymouthgrl Apr 24 '26

That might be but this isn’t that.

u/Dr-Assbeard Apr 24 '26

Why is she suprised then?

Because most men are awful during delivery. Get it through your thick skull.

You argue like a 13 year old bully.

Wait . . . are you 13? That would make your comments make more sense.

How is it arguing like a bully? Just because you dont like it qhen someone use logic and your own words?

I don’t think you know what discriminate means is the point.

What unfair treatment is being offered to him in this situation?

Having a negative opinion about someone can be prejudice. Acting on that feeling to have a tangible impact on them is discrimination.

Did I say she was discriminatory towards him?

The unfair treatment is that of have a preconceived notion that no man would be decent during their wifes labour and delivery.

And she is acting on it, se is standing there expressing clear suprise and decided to make a video about it.

2

u/c3p-bro Apr 24 '26

There is no unfair treatment if she does not interact with him at all.

And the text was added after the video which was about something else.

So again, what harm was caused to the man in this situation? Merely having a prejudiced thought is not harm caused.

So there is no unfair treatmen if someone is making a podcast criticising and saying awful things about women if they dont so it directly to a womam?

Doesn't make the image less sexist though.

The harm was not done to the man in the situation, the harm was done against men in general by spreading anti man rethoric.

Edit. The user blocked after responding so this is my response to that message

Where did I express a want to police anyone's thoughts😂

She made a video about how men being their for their wieves birth is unexpected and surprising, that is very tangential i would say

Generally you cannot police people’s thoughts, as much as you seem to want to.

If she made a podcast about how men are bad you’re arguing something completely different
