Shoe horn? This has been an extremely common abbreviation for many years on Reddit

ETA has ALWAYS meant estimated time of arrival in any context; people have ALWAYS put "edit:" or some variation of for edits on comments here. 3 u/Xythrielle Apr 24 '26 It has meant both things for a long time.
