Chris here, the joke is sexism, she doesn't expect a man to be present and supportive durig childbirth

Unfortunately a lot of men just aren’t present during child birth. I had to care for my son (hospital didn’t have a nursery either) alone after delivering him at 10pm and not having slept for 24+ hours. I’m far from the only one with a story like that

And that is indeed awful, not an excuse for sexism though

Your male fragility is off the charts.

Just because someone has an experience doesn’t mean they can apply it to everyone else, women are so fragile these days that they generalise people

It's always funny when someone uses a generalization to say another group is generalizing.

It is funny isn’t it. You can only see your double standards and hypocrisy when someone is generalising you. I use the same logic that you use.

Not a man but go on being transphobic

There's nothing transphobic about assuming someone who whines about misandry is a man. Your fragility isn't just off the charts, it's out of this world!

There definitely is something transphobic about assuming teans people's genders

Oh, so you ARE a child? That makes more sense then. These are not the comments of a mature adult.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to live with your bigotry

It’s not sexism, it’s a shared experience by many women. No ones assuming the man won’t be there, this meme is (to my understanding) only implying the pleasant surprise of them being there. Kinda like kids on Christmas morning- they dont assume there wont be presents, but theyre always stoked to see them under the tree anyway.

The "one of the good ones" mentality and rethoric is also discriminatory

Sure, if you want to take that as discriminatory, you can.
