My dad found this unusual rock while working in the back yard. The outer exterior looks almost metallic but it's hard to tell if it's just a shiny rock or if actually metal. One thing that really caught my attention is just how heavy it is weighing in at 7.9kg. It feels like it weighs at least 2-3 times more than a comparable rock of it's size. What did we find?

Ok, so this is obviously landing gear but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. I briefly searched the immediate area for more debris but found nothing of note.

I reported it to the powers that be and they confirmed it was never previously reported.

Found far off trail, but generally in the area around Grand Park which is in the northeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park.

Trekking pole is approx. 125 cms for reference.

I opened a banana and it was red inside. I've never seen anything like this before. What is it? It smells fine.

This is in my backyard not far off the back deck and kitchen and near the door to the basement. It has these two layers of hatches and we have no idea what it is. The house was built in 1925 and we're in Massachusetts if that helps in any way. We've been so curious what it is.

Found in the Kornati islands, Croatia, about 20 feet deep. It’s approximately 4.5 feet long.

Edit: It smelt like nothing at all! Hence the confusion. I did burn one after figuring out what it was and it smelt like something generic burning.
I burn incense A LOT so I was very very confused on what it was. I’m guessing it’s old incense since it didn’t really have a scent when burnt.

Cleaning out some old drawers at our audio video store. found this thing in the back and have no clue what it could be for.

EDIT: From many comments, this seems to be some sort of RF or IR device used for test connections in older AV equipment. Our oldest technician will be in the store tomorrow and he will definitely know what this is. I will post an update tomorrow with a definitive answer!

Trying to find information on the sword

VERY hard to bend, but very extremely light in weight.

I paid $100 for this big wood thing a few years ago from a salvage store in Snohomish, WA.

They told me they thought it came from a boat forge place in Everett. I know nothing about that, but I thought it was cool and that it would make a unique bench or table or sex bed or something.

It's about 7 feet tall by maybe 2.5 feet wide at the widest point. I don't see any markings on it. It does look like there were some vises that they removed. It's heavy AF.

I rent this house in NC and I’m wondering if I should call my landlord to see if he’ll send someone out to bring this down, or if I need to take it down myself. And if I do, what are safe ways to do so ?

Found this pile of what appears to be animal hair or fur in the southern Tetons. We thought it was grass at first, which is why one person picked it up. But it quickly became evident that it was of animal origin. Have done lots of hiking in this area but haven’t seen anything like it before, and definitely not a whole pile of it. Right on the trail but a couple of miles in from the trailhead on a less popular route. No bones or other bits evident nearby.

It was in my works AV room, it was in a Ziploc bag too. I asked my coworker what he thought it was and he wouldn't give me an answer and no one else knows what it is.
